Real-Time Telemetry & Dash
I created the program for the car's dashboard from scratch using an ESP32 microcontroller and a 3.2" TFT display. By implementing CAN communication with various vehicle systems, the dashboard provides real-time feedback on critical performance metrics like speed, motor temperature, and active faults.
This dashboard offers essential real-time feedback to the driver during testing and competition, proving to be a key part of our vehicle's performance and reliability improvements over the past year.
Architecture & PCB Design
I ensured the dashboard's program was modular and well-documented to allow future team members to easily update and expand its functionality. In addition to software, I also worked on the PCB assembly and testing to validate the design and ensure strict reliability.
Next year, I plan to contribute to the design and implementation of a custom battery pack to further improve our vehicle's performance and overall efficiency.
